Educational Exposure Visit by PM Shri GIC Bhujan Students to the Institute

A total of 62 students from PM Shri GIC Bhujan, Almora visited the Institute for an educational exposure tour aimed at strengthening scientific temperament, biodiversity conservation awareness, and climate change mitigation. The students were introduced to the ecological significance of the Himalaya and the Institute’s research on sustainable resource management and climate resilience. Visits to laboratories, the Automatic Weather Station, and Surykunj provided hands-on exposure to scientific monitoring and field innovations. The programme fostered a scientific outlook and motivated students to adopt sustainable practices aligned with Mission LiFE for environmental conservation and climate action.
