Educational Exposure Visit of Students from PM Shri GIC Garurbanj, Almora

A total of 156 students from PM Shri GIC Garurbanj, Almora, visited the Institute on 03 February 2026 as part of an educational exposure programme. During the visit, faculty members interacted with the students and provided an overview of the institute’s ongoing research activities, with special emphasis on biodiversity conservation, water resource management, climate change, and livelihood enhancement. The students toured various facilities of the institute, including Surykunj, Research Laboratories, Rural Technology Centre, and the Library. The interactive sessions generated keen interest among the students, motivated them towards scientific inquiry, and significantly contributed to strengthening their scientific temperament and awareness of environmental challenges.
