Pariksha Pe Charcha Workshop on Mission LiFE and Green School Practices

The EIACP Centre of the Govind Ballabh Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (GBPNIHE), Kosi–Katarmal, Almora, organised a workshop at Shaheed Mohan Singh Jeena Government Inter College, Sheetlakhet, under the 9th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha. The programme focused on Mission LiFE and Green School Practices. The initiative highlighted the importance of reducing examination stress and promoting joyful learning among students. Participants were sensitised about adopting environmentally friendly lifestyles to minimise human impact on nature. An illustrated lecture on green school development emphasised energy conservation, water and waste management, tree plantation, rainwater harvesting, solar energy use and plastic-free school campuses. The programme concluded with portal registration and a formal vote of thanks. A total of 319 participants attended the event.
