  • First Nina Saxena award from IIT Kharagpur for the development of technology of high artemisinin yielding genotype ‘CIM AROGYA’.

As an Individual

  • Appreciation Award 2007 from CIMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic plants, CSIR) for the recognition of the significant contribution for the development of Artemisia annua L. variety 'CIM-Arogya’.

  • Annual Award 2005 from CIMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic plants, CSIR) for the recognition of the significant contribution for the development of Artemisia annual variety 'CIM-Arogya’ linking pharma industry and farmers and strengthening the mission to fight malaria.

Other Recognitions

  • Honourable President (Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam) had announced about the technology of development of 'CIM-Arogya’ as most challenging variety of Artemisia annua L. to fight malaria, on the occasion of Nation Technology Day - 2006 (US Patent No: 7,375,260).
